how to break a ribbon?
as you know there is a broken ribbon on the cover of eclipse.when i read new moon(no i havent read twilight)i used a flower as a bookmark.now that im on pg 289 of eclipse and i really want to break the ribbion just like the cover.i have been using a 9 in. ribbion but i just want the top broken.
You'll have to tear it. It's a satin ribbon so it will naturally fray like that. I would say that the easiest way would be to snip a tiny snip where you want the tear to be. Use a sharp pair of scissors. This will give you the start. Now, tear. It will take a lot of strength because satin doesn't rip very easily if it's good quality. It will fray and be stringy like the ribbon on the cover.
