Dog Art

Is there a martial art to protect myself against a dog I want to buy a pet dog but I'm afraid the dog may jump?
on me in a playful way. Is there a martial art to teach me what to do if my pet dog jumps on me in a playful way.
martial arts generally doesn't teach techniques for defense against dogs, but many of the throws you find in judo, aikido, hapkido, etc. could be used to get a dog off you.
really though, a properly trained dog will not be a threat to its owner unless it gets some kind of affliction like rabies. check out this website for dog training tips and guides: http://www.dog-obedience-training-review.com/

Back in Black
$5.64 Most critics complain Back in Black, the album AC/DC recorded after the death of their original lead screamer Bon Scott, is ridiculously juvenile, obvious, snickering, bludgeoning, derivative, single-minded about sex and booze, a big cartoon. All true, of course, and--on rock 'n' ragers like "What Do You Do For Money Honey," "You Shook Me All Night Long," and the title track--all great. As Scott's... |

Elv1s 30 #1 Hits
$4.43 In 1987, RCA released a one-disc Elvis compilation called The Number One Hits that featured 18 tracks. So how did the label come up with 12 additional number ones (13 if you count the sensational "A Little Less Conversation" remix that brings the King into the 21st century as a bona fide dance/electronica star)? Well, the '87 compilation featured only Billboard number ones. "In the Ghetto" and "Bu... |

The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album
$5.10 At the time of its release, this was the watershed for soundtracks, selling a kazillion copies. It documents Whitney Houston's character in the Kevin Costner movie, which required Houston to play only herself (although one hopes she wouldn't end up with someone as smarmy as Costner). The album is as much a testament to the production of Babyface who, through the mid-1990s, actually was the mainstr... |

Men in Black II [VHS]
$0.01 More remake than sequel, Men in Black II safely repeats everything that made Men in Black the blockbuster hit of 1997. That's fine if you loved the original's fresh humor, weird aliens, and loopy ingenuity, but as sequels go, it's pure déjà vu. Makeup wizard Rick Baker is the only MIB alumnus who's trying anything new, while director Barry Sonnenfeld and costars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones (a... |

Moneyball
$7.38 It's amazing that Moneyball makes baseball statistics seem fascinating--but that's because it's not really a movie about numbers, and it's not really a movie about baseball, either. It's about what drives people to take risks--in this instance, Billy Beane (played by Brad Pitt), general manager of the Oakland A's, who's just had his best players poached by teams that can afford to pay a lot more. ... |
