Green Silicone
Green Gas = Propane + Silicone Oil. Is it OK to use any other kind of oil with propane as propellant?
Airsoft Innovations recently released a study that exposed "Green Gas," as simply Propane with a silicone oil additive. Seeing as silicone oil is a very low viscosity oil that is typically non-petroleum-based, I'm wondering if any other more-available oil is just as good. Right now I'm using Remington Rem Oil. It says it has Teflon in it, and i'm not sure if thats OK.
Ask this at the Chemistry section. I'm not sure what the answer is.
