Should I keep a cover on the washing machine in case the car keys scratch the surface?
It's an old wives tale. I put a cloth over the machine when it;'s not in use. It is in the laundry where I live (where else?). I live in a Guest house and the landlady's mother said to keep the cover on it in case the car keys scratch the surface. No one at the guest house drives a car so no one has car keys. Should I continue to cover the machine?
But no one has car keys?!
if you are a guest you must do what is asked of you , some people cover sofas, some telephones, some tea pots, some washer and some never use protection of any sort, better be safe than sorry I say!
