Electroplate an Electric Bass?
I am going to make an electric bass, and to make it unique I figured I would electroplate copper onto it and etch it.
How can I electroplate copper on a wood? What would I have to coat it with?

Yes. I KNOW you must have a conductive surface. That is why I said what should I coat it with. I was wondering if there were any paints or glues that conducted electricity when they dry.
You can't electroplate on wood. To electroplate, you need a conductive surface. The wood has to already have a metal like copper on it. In electroplating, the material to be plated on is the cathode. All exposed conductive parts of the cathode connected electrically to the circuit will be plated. How were you planning on plating copper?
